May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Romans 15:13

What is November like for you?  Is it a time of year when you are busy planning Thanksgiving or Christmas celebrations?  Or do you, like me, live in the southern hemisphere where November often signals the end of the school year and you spend your time frantically buying end of year appreciation gifts for teachers, staff, etc or re-enrolling your kids or grandkids in school and other activities for the following year?

To many that I speak to, this time of year is not just one of celebration and thanksgiving as we remember Christ's birth (and celebrate Thanksgiving for those in North America), but it is also a time when people feel stressed,  overworked and just plain tired.  It can be hard to take joy in the Lord and trust in him, so my prayer for everyone this week is that you may truly know Romans 15:13 in your lives each and every day.
