Intro: I started my Etsy shop about a year ago to try supporting my two children (ages 2 and 4) while staying at home. It has been a very healing and inspirational process. Each of my pieces are carefully crafted to tell a meaningful visual story of whimsical fun, music, biking or simply the appreciation of nature in its fleeting, fragile beauty.

How did you get your start on Etsy?: I began as a shop geared toward children's items, using nature and stories to create vivid and cheerful pieces. It was wonderful, but not fulfilling enough. It began evolving into a shop geared toward my passions: getting out in the woods, observing the plants and vegetation and riding my bikes. I wanted to create a way to bring these ideas into the home. I create each piece as if it were a special addition to my own home...paying attention to each detail and putting much love and energy into it.
How did you choose your shop name? My favorite artist shops on Etsy are all their names, so I chose to do the same.What does a typical day look like for you? I wake up to the addicting happiness of my two young children; create and sketch when I can manage to fit it in; involve my kids in all aspects of home life, including my art.
If you could be anywhere in the world for one day, where would it be? I used to work as a river guide in the Grand Canyon. I dream of not only returning there but introducing my two children to its beauty.What is your favorite Bible verse? It would be, Luke 6:31 "Do to others as you would have them do to you."
What is your favorite Etsy item listing to feature? I love my Personalized Aspen Tree Wooden Wedding Guest Book Memory Album. I have one as a photo album as well as another as a scrapbook album.Links to other places on the internet where we can find you:
