I would like to introduce Angela from CraftyCrochet4Kids. Angela is blessing us with a giveaway of a surprise item for a little girls; you choose two colors and let her know the age. Fun! To enter, go to her shop, pick a favorite item, and comment with item (please include your email address so we can easily contact you.) Winners will be chosen using random.org!

Tell us a little about yourself Angela! I am a stay-at-home mom of three precious gifts from God; a 4 year old girl, a 2 1/2 year old boy and a 5 month old girl. I use this shop as my "tent making" business and am just looking to use the talents and abilities that God has given me to provide a little extra income for my family. Any talent and ability I have comes soley from Him and to Him alone I give the glory!

I have been crocheting since I was six years old and was taught by my sweet Aunt. I will always remember sitting in her home and learning how to crochet while hymns played in the background! I still have a hat that she helped me make and have passed down to my own daughter. I hope to instill a love of crochet in my own children when they get a bit older. I look forward to creating memories with them!

I love making crochet items for babies and children, especially whimsical animal hats. It gives me great joy to see one of my handmade crochet hats, blankets or booties "in use" on a sweet little baby. Or to see one of my fun and funky hats on a toddler or older child. I also love knowing that I am helping to create special memories for other families when I make photography props because I know those photos will be cherished for a lifetime. I really love making things for people!
-How did you get your start on Etsy? How did you choose your shop name?
People have been telling me for YEARS that I should sell my hats on Etsy! In the past, I would always just sort of brush it off with a compliment and not think about it anymore. But this past July I felt the LORD leading me to actually get started. There is really no other reason I can tell you except that it was God because it was so sudden and out of the blue that I jumped into Etsy. I felt so strongly that I needed to get started NOW that I didn't even really take the time to come up with a clever and catchy shop name. I just picked something off the top of my head and opened up my shop.

-What does a typical day look like for you?
A typical day for me is very non-typical! lol No two days are ever alike! Because I am a stay-at-home mom to three small children, my days are filled with hugs, tears, books, legos homeschooling, and anything else you can think of!
-If you could be anywhere in the world for one day, where would it be?
I would really, really, really love to spend a day in Ireland! It is so beautiful there and the culture is so rich. Although, I admit, that I'm not sure I would want to spend too much time there because I'm not sure I would actually enjoy the food. But I would definitely love to see Ireland at least once!
-What is your favorite Bible verse?
Joshua 1:9
"Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go."

-What is your favorite Etsy item listing to feature?
I think my bear beanies are my favorite items. That, or the diaper cover with the ruffles on the bum. Whenever I look at either of them, they just make me smile. And isn't that the way it should be? =)

Hi Angela, So nice meeting you! All your items and models are precious. I especially love the bear beanie... but that may be because of the darling expression on that little one's face!

Oh, my. Do I have to choose just one? I suppose my favorite is the Crochet Toddler Owl Beanie Hat, but they are all so adorable!

Once upon a time long, long ago in a land far far away, I used to crochet, too, so I can appreciate that each of these items are a labor of love. Blessings to you, Angela. :)
