WOW again , how many times do we as humans want to fix it ourselves or handle it ourselves ? ... TELL Him what you need , and THANK Him for all He has done . I am so blessed even in the hard times , I must remember to THANK Him for all He has done , and tell Him what iIneed , not complain about how things aren't going my way .

Introduction to you: I am a stay
at home mom to 7 ... their ages range from 9 mo. - 12 yrs. I also
homeschool, homebirth, and homestead as much as possible . As
soon as we had our first baby , my husband and I agreed ... if at all possible
I was going to stay home and raise our family ... so i started doing craft
shows a few times a year , that was awesome ... I still love craft shows , but
don’t do near as many now , I do try to do our local farmers market as much as
possible ... I have family and friends who call me up and say hey I need
a gift , every now and then , and I dabbled with my Etsy shop for a while , but
i have recently decided i need to spend more time with my Etsy shop and make it
more of a business . I also opened a second one recently to separate my sweets
from the crafts :) We have had to make many sacrifices , but it is something I
know I will never regret. The years spent raising our kids is time we will
never get back .

How did you get your start on Etsy? I started on Etsy because I had relatives and friends
across the country that wanted to buy from me and it was kind of hard to always
"tell" them what I had on hand. I started listing stuff so they could
see exactly what I had on hand .
How did you choose your shop name? When we bought the house that we live in , we bought it
with the intentions of staying here as long as God willing (I dont like moving
so I hope it is our home till we are too old to take care of it) and when
we did, we had no idea it was a historical landmark . We did choose the location
because it is on a main highway , and we thought that would be perfect to have
a produce stand . But after we moved in people started filling in the history
of the place for us ... and it was called Blue Barn Hill ... so we decided that
anything we do will have that in the name , so locals know just where we are
:)
What does a typical day look like for you? There is no typical day around here ... everyday is simply
an adventure. :) Life with 7 kids keeps it interesting ... I had to give it all
to God a long time ago , because i like to have a plan and stick to it, and
that just doesn't happen most of the time . Most mornings we spend cleaning up,
then after lunch the little kids take a nap and that is when we do school, in
the spring and summer after that we try to get outside to work in the garden
and with the animals. We also do activities with a homeschool group once a
week and are at church every Sunday morning, night and wednesday nights .
After all the kids are bathed and in bed, my hubby and I have some time to
talk, then he watches tv and that is when I have time to craft (most times I have a crochet hook going even when we are talking :) ) That is also when I get
most of my computer work done . I wish I had more time to craft , but most
nights I get about 2-3 hours of crafting time and 1-2 hours of computer time.

If you could be anywhere in the world for one day, where would it be? I would go back to Florida , I was born and raised there
and lived there until 5 years ago. It was paradise and I miss it terribly.

What is your favorite Bible verse? Philippians 4:6 "Don't worry about anything . Instead Pray
about everything . Tell God what you need and thank Him for all He has done."

I just met SuperWoman. 7 homeschooled children, homesteader, craft show vendor - not to mention laundry, cooking, cleaning, and just relating to the 8 other people she lives with. I had fun rummaging around your shop, too.
