“All people are like grass,
and all their faithfulness is like the flowers of the field.
The grass withers and the flowers fall,
because the breath of the Lord blows on them.
    Surely the people are grass.
The grass withers and the flowers fall,
but the word of our God endures forever.”
Isaiah 40:6-8 (NIV)

As Spring arrives in one half of the world, and Autumn/Fall in the other, I thought it helpful to be reminded about the constancy of our great God and his word (and I may have been listening to Chris Tomlin's "Everlasting God" a fair bit too).  No matter the changes we may see or experience in our lives and the world around us, one thing is certain: God is the same yesterday, today and forever.  And as the prophet Isaiah said, his word "endures forever".  I pray this would be an encouragement and comfort to you in your Christian walk.
