Intro: We are two mommas whose friendship started through our kids. Michelle is the sewer of the team and Angel is the paper-crafter.
How did you get your start on Etsy? We were toying with the idea of opening up a shop and checked to see if our name was available. It was! We opened our shop and just gave it a go.
How did you choose your shop name? A lot of people ask how we came up with the BAM part of our name. When we first started thinking of going into business, there were three of us and the BAM is an acronym for our names. Our letter B friend simply realized that now was not the right time for her so A and M just kept going.
What does a typical day look like for you? Wow, well both of us have two kids under the age of three so no day is typical. We wake up and the day starts flying. We mostly play with our kids during the day and get some work done while they are playing or napping. Once the kids are in bed we really get creating. We do most of our work from 8PM until midnight.
If you could be anywhere in the world for one day, where would it be? That is easy, in the arms of Jesus.
What is your favorite Bible verse? The first verse that I (Angel) ever memorized will always hold the most special place in my heart: "And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Sof of God does not have life." 1 John 5:11-12
What is your favorite Etsy item listing to feature? It is so hard to choose one. We have such a passion for everything we make. I love the scripture books because I spent so much time grouping together the verses and I love hearing the stories of how they have blessed others. I love the chalkboard ats because I love hearing how the kids are using them and enjoying them. I love the custom scrapbooks because there is nothing like creating a one of a kind special book for someone. You learn about their likes and hobbies and have fun making a personalized creation.
