oved to express myself creatively -- classical violin, piano, art, dance, singing, acting -- basically any right-brained activity I could get my hands on made me the happiest. In college, my major was theater and OF COURSE my favorite class was costume design!!! I was looking for the perfect hair accessory to go with my maid of honor dress for my best friend's wedding and couldn't find what I was looking for, so I was inspired to make my vision come to life. That marked the beginning of Chinnylulu Designs. If you are bold and love to make a fashion statement, you will adore Chinnylulu Designs.

He told me about it and the rest is history!
How did you choose your shop name?
Chinnylulu is my nickname.
I take care of my baby boy until he naps around 1PM and then for two to three hours, I scramble to fill small orders, check/respond to emails, renew listings, and go to the post office. My husband works from home so he helps out quite a bit. If I happen to have a rush order, I do that as well. The rest of my workload is done after 7PM. I usually work from 7PM to 2AM filling large and custom orders for all three of my Etsy stores. I also do marketing such as organize photoshoots, book wedding shows, contact bloggers via email. In between all that I manage to do reading and crank out papers for my graduate classes.
If you could be anywhere in the world for one day, where would it be?
I would be in Tahiti relaxing in a straw hut built on the beach.
