Deuteronomy 7:19
You saw with your own eyes the great trials, the signs and wonders, the mighty hand and outstretched arm, with which the LORD your God brought you out. The LORD your God will do the same to all the peoples you now fear.

1 Peter 1:6
In all this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials.

2 Peter 2:9if this is so, then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials and to hold the unrighteous for punishment on the day of judgment.

I am continuing the theme of TRIALS this Sunday.  I am going through a situation right now that for me, personally, could be paralyzing both emotionally and financially.
There is really nothing I can do about the financial immediately but I am reminded over and over that continuing my FAITH will get me through this with very little emotional damage.
The Bible is filled with verses, proverbs, psalms that target FAITH.  He is telling us that when we hold on to Him, He will bring us through.
The Light at the end of that tunnel is Him!

Sue - as I was praying for you this morning I found myself singing "Jesus, Jesus Lord to me, Master Savior, Prince of Peace. Ruler of my life today, Jesus Lord to Me." Thought I'd share.

Sue the Lord is right there when you are going through things, when I lost custody of my kids 11 years ago, I thought life was over, but somehow the Lord comforts you like you cannot believe.

I am glad that you are leaning on Him...

Blessings

This is what has helped me and tested my faith for the last several months.
Matthew 6

25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life[e]?
28 “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? 31 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
