Purple vintage pin by ASA Designs

After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the time of King Herod, Magi from the east came to Jerusalem and asked, "Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw his star in the east and have come to worship him."
Matthew 2:1-2

Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus:
Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped,
but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness.
And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death— even death on a cross!
Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name,
that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Philippians 2: 5-11

The above passage from the book of Philippians is one I love and juxtaposed with the verses from Matthew 2, reminds me of Christ's humility and just how much I need to humble myself in my every day living.  You see, Jesus was born a king, He was God, yet he made himself like a servant and humbled himself.  So much so, that He died on the cross to save us, His creations.
As we celebrate Jesus' birth in a week's time, may we all have hearts not only of gratitude, but of humility as well as we think about how much God has done for us through Jesus.  I hope you will also enjoy this week's CAST team finds, purple creations since purple is the colour of royalty.

Wonderful post Deb. I am constantly amazed by the prophetic voice on this team. I am thinking, the Lord is delighted with His girls from all around the planet gathered here.

I hope those two cheeky monkies and their parents have a wonderful Christmas season.
