Introducing

Vicki Pellegrini

(aka AlegraJewelry)

and a Giveaway!

Here's what Vicki says about the Giveaway Item: The inspiration for this pendant was creating a piece that represents God's creation of the heavens and the earth. This piece started with a round turquoise that looked like the planet Earth and then I set a 5mm London Blue Topaz for the Moon. Argentium is the metal I used on the hand made bezel. The bottom part has a copy of scripture from the Bible in Genesis. I added resin for all to float in like the heavens, oxidized the metal and gave it a brushed finish. 18" adjustable sterling silver oxidized chain is included. This is a one of a kind piece.

To enter the Giveaway, visit Vicki's shop. Then come back and COMMENT at the bottom of this Blog about your favorite item in her shop. Please leave a way to contact you, in the event that you are the winner.

Introduction

I live in Oklahoma City, married to the same man for 32 years, have a wonderful daughter that is married and just had my first grandchild 7 weeks ago. My specialty is designing and creating jewelry with Argentium silver, gold, gemstones and sometimes found items.

How did you get your start on Etsy?

I had always made different kinds of jewelry but it wasn't till I found Etsy that I considered selling. From that point on I have worked very hard learning new techniques. I work as a administrator with another team Aspiring Metalsmiths and we now teach and learn new techniques together.

What does a typical day look like?

I start my day at 5:30am, exercise for 30 minutes, get ready for work (Professional TV) which my husband and I own, leave the house around 6:45am and start my day at work as a Service manager for a television repair shop. I am the person that takes care of most of the daily duties at our shop. I work till 5:00pm, my husband go home together. We eat dinner and then I get free time to work in my studio on my jewelry till whenever I can get away with.

If you could be anywhere in the world for one day, where would it be?

Boy, this is a really hard question. I have been many places all over the world on many missions and one day would not be long enough for anything. Hmmm... well I guess I will have to pick Leadville, Colorado in a cabin waiting for the sunset.

What is your favorite Bible verse?

No, in all these things we are more than conquerors thru Him who loved us.

Romans 8:37

What is your favorite Etsy item listing to feature?

Caribbean Dream - Love the color of that drusy!

Hi! Vicki, I love your work. Very inspiring. I visited your Etsy shop, and I found myself liking all of them. But out of your 101 for sale items, I do like your mapped necklaces. One in particular "Long Beach". Maybe because I'm a CSU Long Beach Alumni. Go beach! But I really liked the creative touch of the part of a map to be magnified on a pendant. Awesome touch! Hey if I win, definitely leave me a message on my facebook.com/cielcreation. or send me a message at my blog. Either or! Thank you! God bless!
