Even
though spring officially arrived on March 20th winter doesn’t seem
to want to loosen its cold, icy grip.
Earlier this week the Northeast was hit by yet another snowstorm with
Cape Cod, Massachusetts bearing the brunt of the storm with blizzard-like conditions
and ten inches of snow! Hasn’t Mother
Nature noticed the calendar reads March and not December??? I don’t know about the rest of you but I, for
one, am tired of winter. So I searched
my Bible for references to spring and came upon this:
11 for behold, the winter is past;
the rain is over and gone.
12 The flowers appear on the earth,
the time of singing has come,
and the voice of the turtledove
is heard in our land.
13 The fig tree ripens its figs,
and the vines are in blossom;
they give forth fragrance.
