Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.

One of our members lost their father very suddenly.  Where can she and her family find comfort?

Some can go immediately to the Lord for peace and comfort and for some it takes a while longer but we always end up in the same place.  Seeking comfort in the arms of our Lord.

I've had a heavy heart this week. Praying for Angel. We know we can find comfort in the Lord, but it must be so much harder when we actually need it.

Thanks for sharing this. Sometimes we know things in our head but need that reminder to learn it in our hearts.

It's so good to know that God is always there and that he will never leave us.

I am praying for the member who lost her father. Losing a loved-one hurts, hurts, and hurts some more. Heartache is a part of this life. Lord knows, I have had my share of sorrow and I expect there will be more, as long as I live on this earth. But, what I have held close to my heart, is that the Lord loves me. I have a deep JOY in Him, even in my time of sorrow. we can seek solace in His Presence. He knows that we are sorta' like a man who looks in a mirror...as soon as he turns away, he forgets his image. Sometimes, we are like the man in the mirror when we are experiencing heartache...we forget the ONLY ONE who can truly comfort and hold us. But, it doesn't take us very long to run into His arms. And, He is always there, waiting for us to remember Him. I will keep the member of our flock in my prayers~
