2 Corinthians 4:16-18 So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.

Oh, what a wonderful Scripture to keep wrapped around one's heart! It is such a blessing to be a part of this team. I remember when I first opened my Etsy shop, I was feeling lost and needed other Etsians to talk to. I tried joining several forums and just felt left out. You know what? That was a good thing! I really didn't fit in, because this was the team I needed to find. I thank God for all of you! It is a blessing to have you. I may not chat, often, but I know that fellow believers are only a keyboard away. It is a wonderful feeling! And, Sue, thank you, for choosing my tags! Humbly, Cynthia

The older I get, the closer to God I feel. Perhaps that is His plan. Our bodies and minds start to waste away, but our souls are overflowing the nearer we get to when we meet our Savior face to face.

This scripture is so wonderful. To me it means that we have this blessed hope in our Savior Jesus Christ. Thru our worst trials He shines and leads us thru. Our hope is not in the temporary but in the eternal. What an amazing, wonderful, loving Savior we serve!♥
Thank you for posting my cuff and letting me be a part of such a wonderful team.April

Wonderful post Sue! I love this scripture, such hope it brings. When things are difficult I always ask myself if this is going to matter in eternity. Most of the time it isn't so it is just a momentary nuisance. Love that old song...This world is not my home, I'm just a passin' through...

Great one. AS they all are.. Looking unto Jesus in each and every moment... praying -- from family, to work, to computer time, and crafting time!

Good reminder that this world we live in gives us ups and downs and fails and rewards us but in God there is always a reward. Thanks for this scripture.

I think it means that we need to focus on Jesus and all the good things he has for us when we are facing trials.
