Hi! Let's welcome today's featured artist!

Tricia has decided to host a giveaway! To win the lovely set below, go to her shop, then come back here and comment on this post. The winner will be chosen next week!

Tell us a little about yourself!
Your name: Tricia Graft

Your shop name: CreationsbyTricia

Introduction on you: (talking about myself isn't all that easy..lol) First and foremost I am a child of the living God! I am married to a wonderful man, Pete (unless you want to call him by his 'high-falootin snooty' name: Nathaniel Earl Graft III)
and have a giant stepson (Jackson is 22 yrs old/young is 6'4" tall and 240#, hence the giant part). Pete and I (he will say just me) opened a bead store in my town April 1, 2010 and we are doing ok so far. I'm not very business minded, so it helps to have a hubby who is. For many years I have said I don't have a creative bone in my body, God showed me different: my girlfriend gave me a jewelry set for my birthday a few years(she created) back and when I put the necklace on it broke, same happened with the bracelet. I took it to her and told her what happened (I know know it was just a crimp bead that didn't hold) and she started fixing it. As I was watching her repair it, I said 'that looks easy' and she told me 'it is!'. As I continued to watch, I muttered something to myself (I think I could do that), then I hear "I've been telling you for 3 years you could do this." I was visiting her when this happened, so when I came home, I knew of some pieces I had in my jewelry box that needed repair, and I kept everything thinking I'd find someone eventually to repair them. Ha Ha...joke on me, little did I realize I would be the person to repair them. And sooo...a 'bead junkie' was born! After my friend visited us in November of 2009, the idea for the bead store was born. And it is all born of God for certain, I would never have dreamed this for myself. I love creating unique pieces of jewelry that you won't find anywhere else.
All in all, I'm just a regular type gal who lives in Southwestern Pennsylvania and gives credit to God for all I have in this life.

How did you get your start on Etsy? I found Etsy on an internet search when I was researching for the store before opening. Wasn't able to do much with it at the time, beings I was busy getting things together for the store. I got reintroduced to Etsy on my facebook
wall (a friend posted something), and I went back and checked it out. Wallah....CreationsbyTricia was born. After approx a month or so, I found the CASTteam and joined.

How did you choose your shop name? That's kinda obvious, right? lol

What does a typical day look like for you? After getting out of bed, coffee is a must first thing. After getting my coffee, I sit in my spot and talk to God and read the Word and devotional time. Then I play with the cats some (3 of em) before I get ready to go to the
store. Open up the store, turn on the radio (K-Love), check emails, etsy and anything else that is pressing. Generally I'll start creating something or doing store business. At this time I am reworking a few things in the store
which is taking up lots of my creative time.
If you could be anywhere in the world for one day, where would it be? San Antonio, Texas. I realize that may sound kinda silly, but I lived there 4 years before moving back here (on God's calling - even though I dislike the winters up here) and I would so love to see my
church family again down there.

What is your favorite Bible verse? Romans 8:28 All things work together for GOOD for those who love God and are called according to His purpose.

What is your favorite Etsy item listing to feature? hmmmm....that's a tough one, because the majority of my jewelry are one of a kinds, at this moment it would probably be my wire wrapped purple beaded necklace.
Teaching myself how to work with wire, and I came up with this with the help of a magazine (ArtWire)
