Luke 12:6-7
“Are not five sparrows sold for two copper coins? And not one of them is forgotten before God.
But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.

Psalm 84:3
Even the sparrow has found a home,And the swallow a nest for herself, Where she may lay her young— Even Your altars, O LORD of hosts, My King and my God.
We are all so very valuable to God. He knows us, He sees every little thing we do, He hears everything we say.
He is always there for us.

I did not do the Friday Finds this week as I promised to because so many things were happening in my life. I have listed more than usual today because this is supposed to be my obedience to God.  I am honoring God when I make a promise and they should never be broken. He is faithful to me and all of us.
Thought for the day - Do you honor all of your promises in respect for God?
Do we honor Him with our actions and our words?

I totally understand your sense of wishing to follow your promise. God knows the desires of our hearts and understands. I love your choice of verses and know they are so personally meaningful to you... and for each of us.

Thank you for including my mother and child painting.

Sue....this is so honest and thought-provoking. So many profound truths in such simplicity. Thank you for the thought as I enter Sunday.
I came here to read the post and had no idea you had included my greyhound. Thank you!

I love the post, Sue! I have a watercolor painting of a sparrow with the words, "His eye is on the sparrow," on my desk. I also love the song by that name. Thank you for including me!

Immediately a song comes to my mind, which I had sung so, so many times for weddings, solo at church....
"His eye is on the sparrow, and I know he watches me, Title: Let not your heart be troubled"
How wonderful our God is...
