Some of my favorite memories of Christmas are toys. I was blessed because I always seemed to get what I was wishing for. Back in the days before computers, we wanted dolls, trucks, and dare we wish for a bike? I have a memory of my mom staying up on Christmas Eve to finish sewing pajamas for my Suzy Walker doll. I walked into the kitchen, when I was supposed to be sleeping and there she was, trying to hide what she was doing.  There went believing in Santa. I think I was about 8.  My grandson, Noah, still believes at 9!  I think this might be the last year.
We can still enjoy Christmas toys through the eyes of our children and grandchildren.
Enjoy!

Christmas memories of years past remind me of midnight masses and sneaking down the stairs to see if Santa had come. I enjoyed your memory and the choices are great gift ideas!

Sue...you are so kind to include two of my items. Thank you. I am a big lover of stuffed toys. I had many as a child and played endless hours with them in all kinds of imaginative ways. I am so sad for so many kids today who don't know how to do that. Who will carry on the Christ-like quality of creativity?

Sue, this is a marvelous collection. It reminded me not so much of my toys and dolls that Santa was bringing- and I still have my baby doll Sarah - but of the gift's my grandma would have put under the tree. Hankies on which there were pre-printed patters for me to do simple cross stitch, perhabs a pillow case she made and drew a pattern on the edge for me to cross stitch. Oh I was handey and creative already at an early age and loved it.
Your selections of toys are the cutest!
Thanks for sharing...

Thanks for sharing your memories Sue. I think part of the "magical" part of Christmas is remembering and recapturing our feelings and thoughts of the past.
I too, am a big lover of stuffed toys! Great collection from a talented team!

Sweet toys, I do remember a few special Christmas gifts - a stuffed brown dog comes to mind. I liked to create stories with toys and paper dolls.
