Today has been an absolutely beautiful day in the little corner of the world where I live.  The temperatures are starting to drop so it is not so hot and the sun was shining brightly without a cloud in the sky.  It was the type of day that is perfect for driving thru town with windows rolled down and the sunroof wide open.

Which is exactly what I did as I was out running errands this morning.  As I drove and enjoyed the weather, I listened to a favorite CD by "Point of Grace".  I've listened to these songs many, many times and really for awhile was just singing and driving and not really thinking much about the words.  After a bit, though, the CD came to the song "You are Good".  My ears and my heart perked up some as these words began playing,

When the sun starts to rise and I open my eyes
You are good, so good
In the heat of the day with each stone that I lay
You are good, so good.
 
God IS so good, isn't He?  This is something I know, something I've experienced... and, yet, I was struck anew this morning by His goodness as I really listened and sang along with this song.  
 
 
And, God isn't just good when life is moving along smoothly.  God is still so good when the roads become rocky, when we watch loved ones suffer or when we suffer personally.  Life gets hard sometimes.  But, still.... God IS Good.
