Bonnie or TIGGERBONN as most of us know her is the originator and leader of our team. She has been a quiet leader for awhile which she explains but she continues praying for her team and sanctioning each of our memberships. I for one, am extremely grateful for Bonnie. My life has been enriched since I joined this team!

The past couple months our CAST Team thread has been closed down by the Etsy leadership. Bonnie was quite concerned about that and shared with us some of her thoughts on the thread. I asked her if I may include it in a blog post. Below are her comments.

"I realize you all don't hear too much from me these days. Some people will probably say "who is she ?" I apologize. I'm the leader of CAST and due to personal and health issues, I have been pretty absent and have only handled membership lately.

After receiving a few requests from members to withdraw them from the team, I realized I needed to come back and read through tens of pages to find out why Etsy had to close a CAST Team thread.

I realize that as strong Christian women and men, we have strong opinions. We stand up for our beliefs and our God. Please just remember there's a time and place for everything. Also remember that CAST was created to give you a safe place to be with other Christians, to promote and encourage one another IN LOVE. Please stay away from other Etsy threads that are controversial if you don't want a hostile reaction. If you must go there, please remember that you are representing the Body of Christ and this team. If you are not sure whether it's ok to post something, convo me or just DON'T post it.

Let me also add that the CAST team thread is not the place to voice your judgments of others' spiritual maturity or admonish others. If you feel someone is out of line, please convo me.
The intent of CAST is to be Salt and Light. Let the world see that you have something they want/need.

Please, since I can't be on here 24/7, nor do I want to be-- I expect you, as members, to convo me when you see the thread getting out of hand or someone is being rude to someone else. Don't feel like it's "tattling". Simply let me know what page number the problem is on.

If you need to vent, maybe we can open a thread on the yahoo group. But these were also closed down due to arguments and porn spam."

In addition she popped in to say:
"Please let me know your ideas for a promotion for June, July (Etsy is doing a Christmas in July, I think) and August. If have some catchy names or ideas from other teams your on, pass it on, sisters ! (and brothers)"

I too am grateful to Bonnie for starting CAST. It is, most of the time, and should be, all of the time, a breath of fresh air for Christians selling on Etsy.

Wonderful post. Bonnie is who I contacted when I joined CAST a long while back.

I agree about posting on controversial threads. Put on your CHristian armour and GOD will get you thru it!

Have a blessed day!
