~Introduction: I enjoy working with color, shape and texture. I really love color. Often my eye will catch a color combination in the world around me and I will try to bring those colors into a jewelry creation.

I come from a family of artists. My children are incredibly creative wonderful people and are all involved in the arts. My mother is a painter and as a child I would go with her to art fairs. While she sold her paintings I would sell beaded jewelry and sand candles.

I grew up on an island surrounded by the Mississippi River. I spent much time outside and my love of God, nature and color inspires much of what I do. In the presence of God you can truly see that "...the whole earth is filled with His Glory".

I have worked with many different media including painting, fibers and dried floral design. I enjoy working with gemstones and sterling silver wire and am self taught with this media.

~How did you get your start on Etsy? I just found Etsy surfing on the net and thought it looked like a great place!

~What does a typical day look like for you? I usually wake up with coffee and some time in the Bible and prayer and if I have time I worship a bit with my guitar. If I don't have to work I'm usually creating jewelry in some form or another, cooking, helping with homework or various other things. I usually end the day reading the One Year Bible and praying together with my husband.

~If you could be anywhere in the world for one day, where would it be? Kayaking in beautiful back waters...where it is quiet!

~What is your favorite Bible verse? Mic. 6:8
He has showed you, O man, what is good.
And what does the LORD require of you?
To act justly and to love mercy
and to walk humbly with your God.

Hi Pam, nice to learn more about you. I read through a one year Bible too and recently came across that verse again. It really struck me and I plan to use it one day in a devotion.

Its all beautiful - I'd enjoy wearing any of it! Maybe I like the heart necklace best.
Nice to get to know you - we have a few things in common - I play the guitar and also read the Bible in a year!

It's alwasy so nice reading about our wonderful castteam artists. So many beautiful items in your studio, Pam. It was difficult to pick a favorite. I also love the pearl drop necklace, but, have chosen one of your lovely and dainty earrings: http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=23996435
