That's the title of a new mixed media piece of art I am working on. I know it sounds a bit conceited at first but really it is rooted in scripture.
God has given each of us unique gifts and talents as well as our weaknesses and He has a plan for all of it. We don't always understand why we are made the way we are but we should learn to embrace it, to trust that our Father knows best.
If we seek him everyday and strive to be obedient in what he calls us to do with our skills, then there is no reason we shouldn't feel comfortable saying "It's good to be me!"
Psalm 139:14 I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Wonderful are Your works, And my soul knows it very well.

So sweet! I need to really grasp this truth...It is good to be me...because HE made me.
It reminds me of what my pastor says, that if we are doing what God has called us to do then we can be proud of what we are doing because we know that God is also proud of us.

Deep, yet simple! I love it! It is true that God made us "US" so it is "good to be me" :-)
Yep - Bible says "He only doeth good....."
Therefore, when He made you, when He made me, He made a good thing.
